Welcome to my personal home page!

I am a Full Professor at the Department of Mathematics and Informatics, a member of the General Algebra and Theoretical Computer Science group.

My research interests are in semigroups and other related structures with an associative multiplication (such as rings and semirings), with emphasis on their universal-algebraic aspects (finite basis problems, algorithmic questions, lattices of varieties, free spectra, etc.) and their connections to combinatorics and theoretical computer science.
